Are you having a good year this year, so far? I know it is not over yet, I’m just checking in to see how things are going…It is the beginning of September and the first day back to school for most kids. The summer has sure flown by!

 

For you though…I am wondering if you have achieved anything from the goals you set-up in January? You know, from the New Years resolution we all seem gun-hoe on to achieve but the inspiration fizzles out after a month or so of trying.

 

If you were able to stay focused then Congratulations to you on your accomplishments, even if they are big or small. You need to pat yourself on the back and be proud of yourself, most of all.

 

If you’re feeling unaccomplished and frustrated that you have let your goals wonder away aimlessly,  then just know that you’re not alone and it’s not too late. However, you need to buckle down. You need to re-arrange your life, re-focus on your goal, remember what you want and how important it is for you.

Do you remember what life changes you want in your life this year?

 

Most want:

  • to lose weight
  • a career advancement
  • being more fit
  • to stop drinking alcohol
  • invest our money
  • spend less/ save more
  • career change
  • to pick up a hobby, again like drawing, sketching, music, writing
  • eat healthier
  • reduce stress and anxiety
  • improve relationships- spouse, kids, parents, neighbors
  • spend more time with like-minded people\pay off debts
  • volunteer
  • further education

 

We want the best, but don’t always follow through. However, when we do feel great about ourselves and on-top-of-the moon! OR on Cloud9  🙂

 

Whatever your goals, if you can envision it, then it can happen.  You just need to believe and take action.

If you don’t believe, then you will likely give up.

If you don’t take action, then there is no energy flowing in the momentum of achieving the goal, and it will not happen.

 

In order to achieve your goals, you need to:

  • envision them in your mind
  • make a step-by-step plan that takes you one step closer to achieving your goal
  • add a timeline and monitor your milestones
  • take action every day and then scratch off each achievement, big or small
  • share your achievements with like-minded people
  • keep the momentum going every day
  • never-give-up!

 

If you gave up on your goal, then don’t wait until January to start again. Start Now!

 

It’s never too late.

 

Believe it can be achieved.

 

Get back on track and stay focused. Don’t give up. Those that achieve things in life, follow through the tough times until the bright times shine down. It’s easy to give up but not easy to continue until you have reached your goals.
